## What we collect

When you submit a financing request we collect your name, phone number, email, postal code and city, your credit situation, income range, employment type, the monthly payment you selected, and the page or vehicle you applied from. We also collect standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited. When you apply, we also record how you reached the site — the page you landed on, the site that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you clicked — together with your IP address and browser type.

## Why we collect it

We use your request to match you with partner dealers and lenders in your province, in Ottawa-Gatineau or Atlantic Canada, that finance buyers in your situation, and to contact you about that request. We use server logs to keep the site working and secure.

## Who we share it with

Your request is shared with the partner dealer or lender we match you with, so they can contact you and, with your separate consent at that time, obtain your credit report. We do not sell your request to unrelated marketers or post it publicly. Partners are independent businesses with their own privacy practices.

## Consent and contact

By submitting the form you consent to be contacted by phone, text message, or email by usedcarnearme.ca and by the partner we match you with, about your request. You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or contacting us.

## Retention

We keep financing requests for as long as needed to complete the referral and to meet legal obligations, then delete them.

## Your rights

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, or ask us to delete it, subject to legal requirements. Residents of Quebec have additional rights under the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.

## Analytics and cookies

The site may use privacy-respecting analytics to count visits and understand which pages are useful. No advertising cookies are set by us. The site also keeps this arrival information in your browser's local storage for up to 30 days so we can tell which of our ads or posts led to a request; it is not shared with advertising networks.
